quite nice, with 4 different unit types on both sides and level up system.
downside: no achievements on the dark side. why? running out of time?

you can really say that i did some testing on this game. i played it for about 5 hours now, trying to level up as far as possible. i have to say, you really did a great job in bringing some new things into tower defense.
but there are downsides:
-firetowers level too slow, it's the only one that levels according to the time aiming at a target, the others just fire a few shots and then it'S over. they got heaps of exp. also the short range makes it hard to really level them up
-ballista den is useless
-no real ending, no reward. you need to put in something that shows you "YOU MADE IT!!! now here see some concept graphics" and stuff
i just read pegaseus review and i think he didnt really play this game enough.
crypt tower IS overpowered. but if you combine an evil eye with 2 or 3 orcish dens you get heaps of 200 damage crits, blowing away all these lvl 1 units. most ninjas wont even turn invisible before they're dead.
about the fire towers he said that evil eye takes too long to level. well, i only had an evil eye on lvl 7 once (in 5 hours!!) so he has a point there, but i still find the evil eye way better than the explosion thing because all damage done is increased, this can make a real difference.
no one here seems to get the real power of the dens:
you have to build 3 or 4 in a row and level them to level 7 orcish dens, then skill out the tree and get poison cloud. enemies won't last long with that combination. but in the beginning they are quite weak, i admit.
well, a bit of room for improvement here, but i this game is great, will be even greater if you fix these tiny balancing problems (make fire towers level faster) and give us a finishing reward.
This is a great idea, combined with nice graphics and background music that doesn't go on your nerves.
Maybe you should make some achievements and a level select in the menu. that would really improve the gameplay!

graphics: 4/5 abstract backgrounds and quite detailed blocks, colorful
sound: 5/5 hypnotic sound, fits nicely into the game
gameplay: 4/5 The game in itself is great. But the menu could be improved. (read the above)
idea: 5/5 cool stuff, addictive because it's challenging, espacially later with the blocks that change rotation direction and '?'-blocks.
